INFLATABLE SILICONE SEAL PROFILES
Channel Fit Inflatable Seals
Channel-fit inflatable seals are selected together with the groove or retainer that supports them. Compare the silicone cross-sections below with your channel dimensions and the position of the surface the seal needs to contact.

SECTION & MOUNTING
Match the seal and its mounting channel
The mounting channel supports the deflated section while allowing the active part of the seal to expand. Check the channel opening, internal width and depth against the individual profile drawing. A profile that fits through the opening may still require a different retaining arrangement inside the channel.
Consider installation access as well as the final section. A one-piece slide-in retainer and a split two-piece retainer provide different ways to assemble and remove a seal. Review the full seal path, joints and air connection before deciding how the profile will be fitted.
When replacing an existing channel-mounted gasket, include a drawing of the channel itself. State the contact gap when the equipment is closed and identify any bends or corners. Our team can then assess the profile, retainer and valve as one assembly.
