INFLATABLE SILICONE SEAL PROFILES

Snap-in Base Inflatable Seals

Snap-in base inflatable seals have retaining features in the base of the cross-section. This family helps you compare the part of the profile that holds the seal in place as well as the part that expands against the mating surface.

SECTION & MOUNTING

Check the retaining base before selecting the section

For this family, the relationship between the base and the receiving channel is central to selection. Check the entry opening, retaining shoulders and available depth in the technical drawing. The name of the family does not establish compatibility with an existing channel.

The base must be supported without obstructing the inflatable chamber. Review how the profile will be inserted, how it will be kept in position during inflation and how it can be removed for maintenance. These questions are particularly useful when the surrounding equipment restricts access.

Send a section of the receiving channel along with the seal drawing or sample photograph. Mark the contact surface, operating gap and air connection position. We can use this information to discuss a suitable catalogue profile or a project-specific requirement.
