Castellated inflatable seals have a stepped or ribbed cross-section. This family brings together silicone profiles with different widths, heights and expansion dimensions, so you can compare the section with the space available in your equipment.

Compare the complete cross-section
A similar outer width does not mean that two castellated profiles will behave identically. The hollow chamber, wall shape and raised features all form part of the section. Open the dimensioned drawing for the individual profile before choosing a mounting arrangement.
Start with the deflated width and height, then check the distance to the mating surface. The listed inflated height describes the profile dimension; it should not be treated as an allowable sealing gap without reviewing the installation. Leave room for the part to return to its deflated position when the equipment opens.
For a replacement gasket, send both a cross-section drawing and a photograph of the existing retainer. Include the overall seal shape, corners and valve position. These details help our team compare the catalogue options with the actual assembly.
